Now you can count on the fingers of one hand the days before the release on Paramount+ of the highly anticipated Teen Wolf: The Moviefilm sequel dell’homonym teen drama branded MTV. This is the now known absence from the project of one of the great protagonists of Teen Wolfor Dylan O’Brien. In the MTV series, Dylan O’Brien played the character of Stiles StilinskiScott’s best friend and right hand man, who with his extraordinary humanity, his sarcasm and his brilliant investigative intelligence had managed to win the hearts of the spectators, becoming one of the most beloved characters in the series. However, Dylan O’Brien’s character has not only won the hearts of viewers, but after years of unquestioning loyalty he has managed to make his way to Lydia (Holland Rode), giving life to one of the best matched and most appreciated couples of the entire show.
How can we forget the extraordinary moments in which Stiles and Scott showed us their sincere and deep friendship, or the long process in which we saw Stiles and Lydia’s chemistry become more and more evident? Considering the centrality that Dylan O’Brien’s character conquered in Teen Wolf, the news of his absence from the film baffled viewers, confident that the pack could never have been the same without Stiles. However, apparently the pack forgot about him.

A few days after the release of Teen Wolf: The Movie su Paramount+, che will debut in the US on January 26thTyler Posey and Holland Roden talked about theabsence of Dylan O’Brien from the project. The two actors of the MTV series have tried to reassure fans once againensuring that in the film Stiles’ absence will find an explanation. In particular, Posey wanted praise the team’s workexplaining that in his opinion the problem was dealt with in the best way:
“We talked a lot about him, but we still had to move forward with the story without himbecause we couldn’t dwell too much on his absence. So I think this is to be commended. I think we did a great job with his absence, honestly”, explained Tyler Posey, adding that a clear reference to Stiles will be in the film the presence of his famous Jeep. “The Jeep is still a big character in this film. The Jeep is his, and Stiles literally yells when you see it. I think we paid him the best homage we could have done without actually having him on screenyou know how?”
For its part, Holland Rodethe other integral part of the Studyhe could not help but have his say on theimpact Dylan O’Brien’s absence will have on the much-loved romance. As Jeff Davis had already specified in the past, without revealing too much, the actress confirmed that, despite everything, Stydia fans won’t be left dry-mouthed.
“I think that fans won’t go hungry when it comes to Lydia and Stiles’ story”, the actress said laughing. “Yup, it will definitely be talked about”.
We still don’t know exactly when Teen Wolf: The Movie will arrive in Italy, although probably its release should not go further the first months of 2023. We can’t wait to find out if the film really lives up to expectations!
