(Lo Indian Spider-ManPavitr Prabhakar) vive in un mondo che chiamiamo The mouth bat, based on the Indian comics of the seventies. The idea of this size is that it is Manhattan but in reverse. Instead of going up, go down!
What is the comic precedent of this one Indian offshoot of Spider-Man? It was originally born from the will of a famous late director, Satyajit Rayto create a movie with a Indian Spider-Man: even came to contact Stan Lee for the project in the late 1980s and early 1990s, shortly before he died in 1992. The concept was revived in a local reboot in comic book form, released in 2004 by the Gotham Entertainment Group (also part of the Marvel group). It basically tells the same story that we all know, just replacing Manhattan with Mumbai and Aunt May and Uncle Ben with Uncles Maya and Bhim. From what Phil Lord says, however, it is clear that with this implementation of the character in Across the Spider-Verse they wanted to go a little beyond a simple carbon copy!
