The cameo of Brian Austin Green – surprise – in the series revival e sequel That ‘ 90s Show. The comedy premiered all ten episodes on Thursday, January 19, 2023 on Netflix.

That ’90s Show is set in the nineties and goes back to Point Place in the Wisconsin, setting of the original series. We are in 1995 and Leia Formandaughter of Eric (Grace) e Donna (Prepon) is visiting his grandparents for the summer. Here she will eventually bond with a new generation of teenagers Point Place under the watchful eye of Kitty and Red’s stern gaze. Sex, drugs and the rock ‘n roll they never die, they just change their clothes.

The series is characterized by the returns, albeit brief, of the original cast, but also by some cameos that will drive lovers of 90s.

One of the most beloved things about the original series was the use of dream and parody sequences – similar to Scrubs –many of which were inspired by 1970s pop culture. That ’90s Show follows the same narrative line with some 90s inserts, including a tribute to Beverly Hills 90210. In the sixth episode, the love life of Leia is in crisis, and the girl is drowsy from daydreaming and imagine how to conquer the boy she likes, if her life were in the iconic teen series. During the fantasies she meets Brian Austin Green which he interprets David Silver.

The actor played David for all ten seasons of Beverly Hills 90210. With his cameo in That ’90s Show he mentions that period of his life with a certain sense of self-irony. Leia he dreams of what his life would be like if he were in the shoes of different characters in the series, and with each fantasy, David appears inviting the girl to a party where he DJs. Later, at the birthday party – vera – Leia dream again Green and asks him how it was Donna Martin (Tory Spelling) between scenes and he replies: “What do you mean by “scene”?“.
