The search continues for the English actor Julian Sands, who disappeared in the California mountains on January 13. The family spreads a thank you message to the committed teams and fans.
Anxiety grows and the hope of finding life again decreases, unfortunately Julian Sands, the well-known British actor who has been missing in the challenging mountains of Southern California since January 13th. The searches continue unabated, but the prohibitive conditions of the area, scourged by bad weather, hinder them quite a bit. The San Bernardino Police posted the following message on Twitter, in which they also shared a statement and thanks from the actor’s family. Room with a view.
As we enter day 11 of the search for Julian Sands on Mt. Baldy, we are reminded of the sheer determination & selflessness of all of the people who have aided in this search. Julian Sands has been missing in the Mount Baldy area for 11 daysafter the wife Eugenia Citkowitz reported her missing. The San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department in its message writes: “As we are about to begin the eleventh day of the search for Julian Sands on Mount Baldy, we are reminded of the sheer determination and selflessness of all those who helped in this search We will continue to use the resources we have available. The family wishes to share this statement.”
Our heartfelt thanks to the charitable members of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department coordinated in the search for our beloved Julian, not to mention the heroic search parties listed below who are tackling difficult situations on the ground and in the air to bring Julian.
After the list, there is another thanks: “We are deeply touched by the expressions of affection and solidarity”. It is a truly distressing situation for the family and for the fans of the good actor, an expert hiker, who unfortunately, like others, has not come to terms with the prohibitive weather conditions that transform the mountains into a death trap. In this period, strong winds blow in the area which transform the snow into ice and increase the risk of an avalanche, so the difficulties in which the rescue teams operate are understandable. Helicopters and drones equipped with infrared viewers are also used for the search, but at the moment the body of Julian Sands has not been sighted. Despite the alert issued by the authorities, another hiker disappeared in the area on Sunday. All that remains is to wait and hope.
