The plot of the third season
But what could Season 3 focus on Ginny & Georgia? Creator Sarah Lampert has revealed some of the things fans can expect from season 3. “I think the show is going to feel really different in season 3 – if we were to have one – because Georgia was a woman who was kind of a superhero in what she she did, and now she’s caught. It’s almost like Superman being taken down. We’ll see if she can get out of this mess she’s been in,” she mused.
Lampert also said that the “surprise” element is a big thing in a potential third season, especially when it comes to Who will Ginny and Austin turn to now that their mother has been arrested. “If Georgia was charged with this crime, we have Zion, who is Ginny’s father, but now we also have Gill. I think he had no custody chance before now because he was a convicted felon, but who knows now. And then we have Paul, who is the stepfather. We have so many golden possibilities for storytelling based on the richness of these characters,” concluded Lampert, implying that he already has many ideas. We just have to wait to understand in which direction Netflix will go and if it will decide to bring Ginny & Georgia beyond the rock – usually very insidious – of the second season.
