A sort of sequel has been expected for some time, even if the authors have declared that it is a film in its own right, which uses the same technologies. Missing: the story and the cast of the film
Missing is a gripping mystery thriller full of twists and turns that makes you think about how well we know the people closest to us. During a holiday in Colombia a woman (Nia Long) disappears along with her new boyfriend. Her daughter, June (Storm Reid), starts looking for her but is hindered by international bureaucracy. Stranded thousands of miles away in Los Angeles, June creatively uses all the latest technology available to her to try and find her before she’s too late. When June digs deeper with her digital investigation of her it will raise more questions than answers and secrets about her mother that will make her discover she never really knew her. In the cast, in addition to the two actresses mentioned, there are also Joaquim de Almeida, ken leung, Amy Landecker e Daniel Henney.
