Marie Antoinette was a young teenager when she left Austria to marry the Dauphin of France. From a stubborn young princess who juggled the rules of the French court under the pressure of the Bourbon line, to a true fashion icon, Marie Antoinette struck with her natural charisma and recreated life in Versailles in her image and likeness: free , independent and feminist ahead of its time. Even as her gossip undermines her reputation, her well-known figure defeats the enemies of the Versailles court with courage and dignity.
