According to Jeff Sneider of Above The Line, as reported by ComicBook, Alex Wolff will be part of the cast of the film. His role, as well as everything inherent in the film itself, still remains a mystery to be revealed. We will therefore have to wait a little longer to find out what will happen on the screen when the new film sees the light.
Sarnoski is writing the screenplay for A Quiet Place: Day One which will premiere on the Paramount+ streaming service.
