Netflix has found its next series for young adults in Geek Girla British novel centering on an awkward teenager who is plucked from anonymity to pursue a career in modeling.
The platform will then adapt novels by Holly Smale in a series of 10 episodeswhich will begin filming later this year.
Second the official description released by the streaming giant, “Geek Girl tells the story of quirky and neurodiverse teenager Harriet Manners, whose life is turned upside down when she is taken on as a model, embarking on a journey of self-discovery as she juggles high school life and high fashion”.
