The new season of the remake will debut in the United States on Peacock on February 23rd.
Tatyana Ali she’s back in Bel-Air, and once again young Ashley Banks is involved. The official trailer for season 2 of Bel-Air reveals that the star of Willy, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, the cult 90s sitcom of which the first is a dramatic remake, will have a role in the new episodes. The ex Ashley Banks, the youngest daughter of Phil and Vivian, will play Ms. Hughes, the English literature teacher of Ashley of Akira Akbarwho sees something special in her and often gives her books from his collection.
Bel-Air 2: What awaits us in the new season
Streaming in the US on Peacock from February 23 (in Italy a date has not yet been announced, while the inaugural series is available on NOW), the second season features Will (Jabari Banks) at a crossroads when a new person enters her life, challenging everything she learned in Bel-Air. While Will also juggles his cohabitation with the Banks’, trying to earn their trust after going off in a bad way at the end of the previous season, the brotherhood between Will and Carlton (Olly Sholotan) begins to evolve as the two grow closer, though they continue to challenge each other about their differences.
Hilary (Coco Jones) finds herself increasingly involved in her world of influencers, with repercussions on her relationship with Jazz (Jordan L. Jones). Meanwhile, at the Bank house, Vivian and Phil (Cassandra Freeman e Adrian Holmes) struggle to balance marriage and family with their respective career paths and a desire to reconnect with the things that are important to them.
Ali is not the first veteran of Willy, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air to appear in the remake. last season, Daphne Maxwell Reid e Vernee Watson-Johnsoninterpreting sisters Vivian and Viola ‘Vy’ Smith respectively, the latter being Will’s mother (Will Smithexecutive producer of the remake), appeared as Helen and Janice, two members of the local Arts Committee who interview Vivian for a coveted fellowship.
