Netflix gets the most nominations, followed by Everything Everywhere All At Once and Island Spirits.

The nominations have been released BAFTA 2023 and in the end it was Netflix who won: Nothing new on the western frontwith 14 nominations, is the most nominated film.
The streaming film released late last year equals Ang Lee’s Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon record for the most nominated non-English-language film and gets the same number of nominations as The King’s Speech.
Everything Everywhere All at Once wins 10 nominations, the same number achieved by Island Spirits.
Among other notable films, Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis garnered nine nominations, including Best Picture and Best Cinematography for Mandy Walker. TAR has five nominations, including Best Actress for Cate Blanchett. Aftersun, The Batman, Good Luck, Leo Grande, Top Gun: Maverick e The Whale they all earned four nominations.

In total, there are 44 feature films in contention this year. In the performance categories, 14 of the 24 nominees received their first BAFTA nomination. These include Ana De Armas (Blonde), Angela Bassett (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever), Austin Butler (Elvis), Colin Farrell (Island Spirits), Brendan Fraser (The Whale), Paul Mescal (Aftersun) and Ke Huy Quan (Everything Everywhere All At Once).
The BAFTA award ceremony will be held on February 19th.
