Gurren Lagann – The Movie 01 – Childhood’s End is the film, dated 2008, directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi, with Katsuyuki Konishi, Marina Inoue, Tetsuya Kakihara, Yukari Fukui and Mitsuki Saiga. The films are based on the anime series Gurren Lagann Breaking Heaven, created by the Gainax studio and co-produced by Aniplex and Konami.
