29 years after the first chapter, the first teaser trailer of the film arrives on Disney + Hocus Pocus 2. Here.
In the distant 1993 it was released in the cinema Hocus Pocus, a fun fantasy comedy that embroidered a story around the myth of the Salem witches. In the film, a boy accidentally brings back to life, just on Halloween night, three evil sisters who had been executed in the 17th century: Winifred, Mary and Sarah. The three witches, respectively interpreted by Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy And Sarah Jessica Parker, they must quickly take advantage of that opportunity to prolong their existence, by the time the sun rises, otherwise they will go back into oblivion. To do this they need the spellbook, taken away from the boy and his little sister. The three diabolical sorcerers pour into the streets of the city riding old brooms in search of the book, wreaking havoc among the inhabitants, with devastating comic effects.
Now, 29 years later, comes the sequel titled Hocus Pocus 2. The three protagonists are always them: Midler, Najimy And Parker. The direction of the first film was by Kenny Ortegaa director whose name has often been linked to musical projects (his next job, in fact, will be directing Dirty Dancing 2), while the sequel was entrusted to Anne Fletcher.
