After announcing its debut date, Apple TV + releases the first teaser trailer for Five Days at the Memorial.
The new limited series consists of eight episodes and was born from the Oscar winner John Ridley and the Emmy winner Carlton Cuse. Based on real events and adaptation of the book by Sheri Fink, the series chronicles the impact of Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath on a local hospital. As the floods increased, the lack of electricity and the blazing heat increased, the weary rescuers at the New Orleans hospital were forced to make decisions that would affect them for years to come.
The cast of the TV series will see Vera Farmiga (Hawkeye, When They See Us), Robert Pine (Beautiful), Cherry Jones (Transparent, Succession), Julie Ann Emery (Better Call Saul, Preacher), Cornelius Smith Jr. (Scandal, Agents of SHIELD), Adepero Oduye (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, When They See Us), Molly Hager (Happyish), Michael Gaston (Blindspot, The Leftovers) e W. Earl Brown (Deadwood, Preacher).
Five Days at the Memorial will debut on Apple TV + on August 12 with the first three episodes, followed by a new episode every Friday until September 16.
