Blue Film, White Film and Red Film have been restored in 4K by Janus Films, who will present them as a world premiere during a review at Lincoln Center.
The color trilogy of Krzysztof Kieślowskithe one consisting of Three colors – Blue film, Three colors – White film And Three colors – Red film (where the colors are those of the French flag and the themes of the three films are those of revolutionary ideals: freedom, equality and brotherhood), it is considered as a whole (and often also in its individual parts) a masterpiece by cinephiles around the world. Made in the first half of the nineties, this trilogy was restored in 4K by Janus Filmswhich will present Kieślowski’s three films in their new version during a retrospective to be held at Lincoln Center in New York.
