Comes sad news for fans of Endeavor Morse: the TV series based on the novels of Colin Dexterknown in Italy as The Young Inspector Morse, it will end with the ninth season.
The decision was made by mutual agreement between the producers of Mammoth Screen and the screenwriter Russell Lewisas well as the stars of the show Shaun Evans (Endeavor Morse) e Roger Allam (Fred Thursday).
The executive producer Damien Timmer commented on the cancellation with a note that we report below:
“Endeavor was a real act of love on the part of all of us, and we pay tribute to Russell Lewis for his extraordinary achievement in telling Endevour Morse coming of age through 72 hours of TV.”
Russell always dug up where he wanted the series to end; now the fateful ‘Remorseful Day’ is upon us. We would like to thank Shaun and Roger and all the other members of the Endeavor family on and off the screen, and fans of the TV series both in the UK and overseas.
Russell has many tricks up his sleeve for the last three episodes, which will see the return of familiar faces and new challenges for Endeavor and Thursday to face, before the final farewell. “
The release date of the ninth season of The Young Inspector Morse has not yet been announcedbut we will not fail to update you as soon as new news leaks.
