The Rocky Balboa interpreter wrote a long post on Instagram about it, in which he explained why he is particularly linked to the sixth chapter of the Rocky saga, the one that no one seemed to want to see or realize, but which really means a lot to him.
“I love Chapter Six. It was the hardest challenge ever. It took over 12 years to make it a reality. Nobody wanted to make it happen. Absolutely none. It was considered a joke. But in my heart I loved the idea, and I have thought I had to wrap up, I wanted to do it with this film. Even if no one involved with the production of the previous films wanted to have anything to do with it, and in the end I did! ” she wrote in fact in the post.
“When people ask me ‘What is your most memorable movie moment’. Rocky Balboa, without a doubt. That was the biggest challenge” he then elaborates “The first Rocky, of course, was fantastic … But this one. it was almost an impossible dream. I pushed this boulder up the hill for 12 long years, I ran into overwhelming negativity, until it happened … And almost by accident! Someday I’ll tell you the whole story. ” .
