Actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers will star in the action thriller 97 minutes, a film directed by Timo Vuorensola starring Alec Baldwin.

Filming on the Iron Sky director’s new film is currently underway in the UK.
97 Minutes tells the story of a 767 that is hijacked and has only the time indicated by the title of the project before running out of fuel and ending its flight in tragedy. NSA director Hawkins (Alec Baldwin) also plans to shoot down the aircraft before those 97 minutes to avoid any possible ground catastrophe. The fate of the innocent passengers will then be in the hands of Tyler, one of the hijackers on board who is actually an undercover Interpol agent. However, the situation may be more complicated than it seems.
Jonathan Rhys Meyers and MyAnna Buring will play the roles of two passengers, while the cast also includes Jo Martin (Doctor Who), Michael Sirow (Infamous), Pavan Grover, Anjul Nigam, Davor Tomic, Slavko Sobin, Luke JI Smith and Kasia Koleczek .
Grover also wrote the screenplay for the film to be directed by Timo Vuorensola.
