Ryan Reynolds has disproved recent fan assumptions that Deadpool was involved in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
A new poster of the film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness had suggested the arrival of Deadpool in the MCU. Ryan Reynolds however, he addressed the issue during the promotion of The Adam Project, denying the fans’ hypothesis.
In the promotional image of the new film starring Benedict Cumberbatch, directed by Sam Raimi, there are many pieces of glass that contain details relating to the characters that will appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Online there have been those who thought they also saw an image of Deadpool in one of the glass fragments. The hypothesis was then fueled by a tweet with which Rob Liefeld, the creator of the character, with whom he shared an article in which he spoke of the possible return of the irreverent mercenary.
Ryan Reynolds, however, confirmed to Variety: “Really, I’m not in the movie.” Considering the recent words of Andrew Garfield who had always stated that he was not involved in Spider-Man: No Way Home, the reporter insisted and the Canadian star added: “I’m promising you, I’m not in the movie”.
However, the actor has assured that the development of Deadpool 3 is underway, a project long awaited by fans of the likeable character.
