Comedy Central has announced the debut date of the 25th season of the long-running 1997 US animated series, South Park.
After securing a further renewal for another four seasons, the show created by Matt Stone e Trey Parker is ready to air in the USA on February 2.
The franchise continued its climb with two independent specials in September 2020 and March 2021 that served for the 24th season. Additionally, two films set in the world of South Park have been produced in recent months. The deal with Paramout Plus includes in total 14 film, tra cui i titoli Post COVID e Post COVID: The Return of COVID.
Stone e Parker they shared their enthusiasm by declaring:
“Being halfway with this animated series is a great accomplishment – we can’t lie. Over the past 25 years, several generations of fans have grown up enchanted by the wacky and subversive world we have created. We are happy with all of this and excited to continue there. ‘agreement with ViacomCBS Media Networks and MTV Entertainment Studios. And many other South Park exclusive events made for streaming on Paramount Plus. “
The 25th season of South Park will be released with the first six episodes for Comedy Central.
