In recent days, rumors related to his potential involvement in the project had surfaced online and only now HBO has shared the official confirmation.
Storm Reid will then play the role of Riley Abel in The Last of Us and will be a guest star on the show, likely only appearing in flashbacks or in the early stages of the story.
In the original video game Riley was only mentioned and in Left Behind, which revealed the protagonists’ past, the friendship between the girls and Ellie, played in the show by Bella Ramsey, was told before the protagonist discovered her immunity to the virus. that had totally overwhelmed the world.
Neil Druckmann, co-president of Naughty Dog, welcomed the actress among the stars of the project by declaring: “Riley! Welcome to the family, Storm Reid!”.
