Landscapers – An Almost Perfect Crime is the most recent project developed by SISTER for Sky Studios and HBO after Chernobyl, among the most awarded and appreciated series ever. Alongside Colman and Thewlis, also in the cast Kate O’Flynn, Dipo Ola, Samuel Anderson, David Hayman, Felicity Montagu and Daniel Rigby.
Landscapers – A Near-Perfect Crime tells the story of Susan and Christopher Edwards, an ordinary and deeply in love middle-aged British couple who find themselves at the center of a murder investigation – and not by chance. The Edwards, in fact, are responsible for the killing of her parents and for the concealment of their corpses (as well as for the theft of a large sum of money from the current account of the deceased) and have been on the loose in France for fifteen years. The sudden discovery of the corpses of the two elderly, however, completely disrupts the cards on the table and overnight the dreamer Susan – passionate about cinema to the point of imagining herself as the protagonist of various films, from westerns to great romantic classics up to noir of Hollywood’s golden age – and her Chris find themselves dealing with the police and their pasts.
