Fans of DC Comics products are preparing for the imminent debut of the next project The CW: we’re talking about Naomi, the show starring Kaci Walfall, written and produced by Ava DuVernay (When They See Us) e Jill Blankenship.
Of course, being a series made by the same television network, one would immediately wonder if the adventures of the young superheroine are set within the so-called Arrowverse and, in response to the question, the same has recently intervened. Walfall.
In fact, as already anticipated by the official synopsis, Naomi’s idol is nothing less than the Man of Steel, but it seems that the version that will appear on the small screen will be completely new is that Tyler Hoechlin, current interpreter of the alien from Krypton in Superman & Lois, will not be involved in any way.
“I think Naomi exists in her universe, so Tyler Hoechlin wasn’t on set,” said the show’s star. “But I’m thrilled that fans see our version of Superman, especially in the first episode.”
Her words only confirm what she had previously announced herself DuVernay, explaining that there are currently no crossovers planned during the first season.
